Diagnostics service
Our diagnostic service is carried out by qualified technicians who are trained to identify any issues or problems affecting vehicle performance. Here is an overview of Infinit Performance's diagnostic service:
Inspection: The diagnostic service begins with a thorough visual inspection of the vehicle by qualified technicians. During this inspection, the technicians will look for any visible issues or problems that may affect the vehicle's performance.
Computerised Scan: After visual inspection, the vehicle's onboard computer is scanned using official tools. This scan will provide detailed information on any issues or problems that may affect the vehicle's performance. The scan can detect mechanical and electrical issues that may not be visible to the eye. These issues include faulty wiring, worn parts, and software issues that can malfunction the vehicle. This helps to ensure that any potential problems are identified and addressed before they become major issues.
Analysis: Once the computerised scan is complete, the data collected is analysed by the Infinit Performance team of qualified technicians to identify any issues or problems. The team will provide a detailed report outlining any issues found, along with recommendations for repairs or maintenance. This report will be used to help the customer make informed decisions about their vehicle, as well as ensure that the vehicle is running at peak performance.
Consultation: After the analysis is complete, the Infinit Performance team will consult with the vehicle owner to discuss the findings and recommendations. The team will explain any repairs or maintenance required and provide an estimate of the work cost. This helps to ensure that the customer is well informed about the state of their vehicle and any work that needs to be done. Having all of this information up-front allows the customer to make an informed decision about what repairs to proceed with and which ones to delay or forgo altogether.
Repairs: If the vehicle owner agrees to the repairs or maintenance recommended by the Infinit Performance team, the work will be carried out by our qualified technicians. The cost of the diagnostic service, £120, will be deducted from the final repair bill. Customers will only have to pay for the cost of the actual repairs and maintenance, minus the £120 diagnostic fee. If the vehicle doesn't require further work, the diagnosis charge will apply.
