Main Bolt Kit: This comprises 10 Large Main Bolts and 10 Small Main Bolts, each accompanied by sealing washers. Opting for bolts over studs for the mains helps counter potential oil leaks, enhanced with our new sealing washers.
M12 Studs: The set includes 20 L19 Studs, bundled with corresponding nuts and washers.
Manufactured to precise specifications, these parts require no adjustments to the block. Through collaboration with ARP, we've constructed these bolts from L19, ensuring a remarkable clamping force exceeding 1000psi.
Our confidence in these bolts extends to their exclusive use in our elite 1300hp+ crate engines, fitting both McLaren M838T and M840T models.
Why L19 over 625 Custom Age?
Both L19 and 625 Custom Age represent ARP INC's top-tier brands, but not the alloy names. L19 mirrors the properties of H11 tool steel, delivering the right balance of stretch and torque retention. Whereas, over-torquing with a 625 Custom Age bolt can stress the engine block, leading to potential warping or cracks. Always adhere to the recommended torque specifications.
