A triple layer head gasket kit for McLaren 3.8L and 4.0L engines.
This is an original McLaren Racing part. This head gasket has three layers opposed to the two layers on the factory engines. This reduces the compression ratio to approx 8.4:1. It also improves head seal and thermal transfer. We recommend this gasket as it reduces the engines tendency to pre ignition/detonation on setups that are knock limited. You will make more power on pump gasoline using this headgasket.
