Mastering Precision Tuning with the MSR 500/2 CAR 4WD Dynamometer at Infinit Performance

The MSR 500/2 CAR 4WD single roller dynamometer is used in the Infinit Performance workshop. It is especially suitable for performance measurements, tuning and diagnostic work on powerful vehicles. With test speeds of up to 300 km/h, it is used for dynamic and static power measurements. The MSR 500/2 CAR 4WD guarantees optimum measurement accuracy and reproducibility through the active measurement of towing power. The MSR 500/2 CAR 4WD also offers a wide range of innovative functions such as automatic vehicle recognition, automatic brake system detection and the automatic measurement of torque curves. This allows for accurate and precise measurements, even in the highest speed ranges. Furthermore, the MSR 500/2 CAR 4WD provides comprehensive diagnostic support and can be used to detect and adjust any issues with the vehicle's performance.

The rolling behaviour of the tyre is the same as on the road. Operating methods such as load simulation, including optional modules for the measurement of external data, e.g. driving cycles, are possible. This is because the tyre is mounted on a roller bed which simulates the motion of the tyre on the road. The simulation is achieved by controlling the speed, acceleration and deceleration of the roller bed, thus providing a realistic testing environment for the tyre.

Our dynamometer consists of a four-wheel drive single roller dynamometer for cars with an axle load of up to 2.4 t, includes an eddy-current brake and an electric motor per roller set and is pre-configured for 3rd/4th eddy-current brake, ideally suited for performance measurements, tuning and diagnostic work in very powerful vehicles. This system allows for the precise measurement of the power output of vehicles, which is essential for tuning and diagnostics. The eddy-current brake and electric motor ensure the highest level of accuracy for the measurements taken.
